AlNser Holding Expands UAE–Morocco Industrial Partnerships Following CEPA Implementation

MOROCCO — May 7, 2026 — AlNser Holding has concluded a series of engagements in Rabat as part of its regional expansion strategy. The visit forms part of the group’s broader efforts to leverage the finalized Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) to expand trade and investment through the UAE–Morocco economic corridor.
Strengthening Bilateral Economic Engagement
The delegation met with H.E. AlAsri Saeed Ahmed AlDhaheri, UAE Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, to discuss the long-term objectives of the UAE mission and the continued expansion of bilateral trade.
Chairman Mohamed Naser AlZaabi noted the significant contributions of H.E. the Ambassador and the UAE Embassy team in Rabat, whose work has helped create a strong foundation for Emirati enterprises to integrate effectively into the Moroccan economy. The dialogue emphasized the Embassy’s role in fostering a stable environment for long-term investment and industrial cooperation.
A Leading Investment Partnership
During the visit, AlNser Holding reaffirmed its commitment to a market where the UAE is established among the leading foreign investors. With the UAE contributing approximately 19% of Morocco’s total net foreign direct investment (FDI) and cumulative investments exceeding $30 billion, the partnership is anchored by large-scale infrastructure and energy projects.
The discussions touched upon current $14 billion initiatives, which AlNser Holding views as critical to building resilient supply chains across the Atlantic and Mediterranean regions.
National Strategy and Commercial Execution
In separate sessions designed to address both policy-level planning and commercial operations, Mr. AlZaabi met with key leaders of Morocco’s economic landscape:
• At the Ministry of Industry and Trade: The Chairman met with HE. Abdelouahed RAHAL, The Director General, to discuss national-level strategic planning and development. The dialogue focused on aligning AlNser Holding’s capabilities with Morocco’s long-term industrial roadmaps, particularly in the context of the operational rollout of the CEPA framework.
• At the CCIS-RSK: In a meeting with HE. Hassan SAKHI, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra Region, the focus shifted to regional commercial integration. Representing a network of more than 220,000 businesses across the Kingdom’s capital region, the Chamber serves as a vital bridge for AlNser Holding to engage directly with the local business community and explore joint-venture opportunities in energy, automotive manufacturing, technology, as well as agri-food and water security.
Outcome and Future Coordination
As a concrete outcome of these engagements, the parties agreed to maintain technical coordination to identify specific industrial and investment opportunities under the CEPA framework. This ongoing collaboration aims to streamline the development of high-impact industrial and infrastructure projects and support the efficient execution of cross-border investments.
Chairman’s Perspective
“Our presence in Rabat is part of a continuous effort to strengthen the partnerships fostered by the UAE and Moroccan authorities,” said Mr. Mohamed Naser AlZaabi, Chairman of AlNser Holding. “By engaging separately with the Ministry on strategic planning and the Chamber on regional business integration, we are ensuring alignment between national strategy and commercial execution. Our objective is to strengthen the UAE–Morocco corridor as a platform for cross-regional growth and industrial cooperation.”
